Our Board

For more than a decade WOLCS has provided families in Northwest Philadelphia and across the city with a quality option for the education of their children. In four of the last five years, WOLCS has made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) by improving the overall performance of our students on the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA).

The Board of Trustees and the WOLCS administration have set their sights on moving the school from Good to Great. Over the next 18 months, WOLCS will upgrade its physical plant. WOLCS will create a state-of the art facility that will house all grades K-8 in one building.

True to the school's mission,we will continue to empower children to become lifelong learners in the areas of science, technology and the humanities by exposing them to innovative ways of teaching and learning, while preparing them for the challenges of the 21st Century.
