Dear Food Service Management Company:

The West Oak Lane Charter School (WOLCS) is requesting bids for school food service management services. The Food Service Management Company (FSMC) will provide management services according to regulations and guidelines of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), as well as the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s policies. Copies of the bid specification documents can be downloaded here.
If your company is interested in submitting a responsive bid, please review the provisions of the Fixed Price Contract (PDE040-FP) particularly the provisions at “Section E. Award Criteria” on page 4 of the contract and “Section Q. Additional Information” on pages 7-8 of the contract. Be sure to supply responsive information with your proposal.
 
Also, review the Excel Workbook that includes RFP Attachments (PDE040a) including the Cost Responsibility Detail Sheet included at Tab FP2; and complete the Projected Operating Costs documents at Tab FP3 as well as Labor and Fringe Benefits worksheets included at Tabs FP4 and FP5.
 
Please note that a mandatory walk-through and meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at the West Oak Lane Charter School, 7115 Stenton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19138. All responsive bid proposals will be due no later than 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday April 18, 2018, and will be opened at 2:30 p.m. on that date. Proposals must be submitted to:

All proposals should be delivered in a sealed envelope and should be clearly marked: “Food Service Management Proposal.” Questions about the bid should be submitted through the following link on line: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WOLCSFoodService2018 Responses to these questions will be forwarded to all company contacts registered through this link.
 
The West Oak Lane Charter School Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or to accept the proposal that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the charter school.
