In 2006, Dr. Debbera Peoples-Lee was hired as WOLCS CEO, ushering a new era in which proven business management concepts were incorporated into WOLCS administrative functions
In January 2011, WOLCS broke ground to expand the charter school
In October 2011, WOLCS completed its $16 million, 64,000 square foot expansion
In September 2012, WOLCS began its first full year with K-8 under one roof
